Employees who participate in the certificate program curriculum will: • Connect across departments and disciplines • Learn key principles and practices around a strategic plan initiative • Develop in their area of Higher Education (Academic Affairs, Administration, or Student Affairs) • Apply theory to practice in their context So that they become EDI practitioners who carry out the mission of their department in ways that meaningfully: • Support and enable an increasingly diverse student body • Energize inclusion and collaboration made possible by differences • Create new ways of being and leading that benefit the humanity of all
