This advanced training session is designed for data analysts and faculty/staff who are ready to deepen their expertise in FSU’s data landscape. The goal of this training is to empower you to elevate your data analysis capabilities using the Data Analytics Toolkit, which provides access to IR approved semantic models. This course covers the basics of reading M Code applied steps, ensuring a solid foundation in data transformation. Participants will explore key functionalities in Power Query, including merging datasets and effectively connecting to Analysis Services. Participants will also learn to manage relationships in the Relationship Editor to enhance data integrity. By the end of the training, you will know how to efficiently access and retrieve data from Microsoft OneLake and Power BI templates, enabling you to blend institutional data with your local data for richer analyses.
